If you were planning to get an Intel WiFi 7 PCI adapter, watch this video first. I checked the single-client throughput using both BE200 and a WiFi 6E adapter. And the results were … underwhelming.
Disappointed that it’s only one arrow! I do appreciate the red circle. Also needs a bit more clickbait title in the thumbnail.
The video is about testing WiFi 7 devices using the BE200… Clickbait implies deception. Did you have a different experience with a WiFi 7 AP or router? That’s the point of this video, a discussion on whether I missed something and find out why things aren’t better.
I wouldn’t classify clickbait as deception so much as a certain intentional vagueness that requires clicking to get what could have been in the title from the beginning.
Also, every damn thumbnail on YouTube seems to look like, well, that. Pointing to a random thing (hard to tell what it is from the thumbnail alone), a vague title with a vague emotion, and a person with a weird expression for some reason.
Sure, fair enough. But the video it still about the disappointing BE200 performance. I really wished to discuss about that, not some image, but here we are.

Thank you for your advice. I will try to do better.
Or you can just downvote away. Feedback be damned.
If you insist.
a 5 Empire coins ( aka USD ) cheap cable can beat any expensive router/adapter
While I can understand the need for wifi in places where it is next to impossible to run a physical hardline (renting a house or extensive renos needed), I fully agree. Absolutely nothing can beat a hardline.
I skimmed the video (this should’ve been an article to be honest) and it can be that I missed the part, but is WiFi 7 more stable than earlier versions? Seeing as that was the whole point of WiFi 7 as far as I know.
I agree that it should have been an article, but Google doesn’t really care for such websites (I tried, trust me), so I had to make it in video format. And it’s not so much the Wi-Fi 7 which is still in development mode, but the only available PCI adapter which works like ass…
I know about his video. He got a better performance with a Qualcomm-based WiFi adapter. Until MSI has made one available a few days ago, there was only the BE200 on the market.
i am watching chinese manufacturers like tenda, wavlink, and unbranded.

Wait, you did this on an AMD processor, or did I misunderstand? Isn’t it only supposed to work on Intel processors? Either way, I’d try with an Intel processor if I were you, if you have one handy, to see if it makes any difference.
I used an Intel pc. I did try on AMD, but the WiFi adapter doesn’t get detected.
