      The EOD team assessed the item and determined it to be a 64lb naval projectile

      Even a tiny amount of explosive can result in a big bang, and certainly hurt someone. If this is a 64 pound projectile, then there has to be a few pounds left even if it was just a tiny amount.

        That’s what got me. A bouncy 7 mile ride back to home. 2 world wars. Regular trowel cleaning. A paint job in 1982. And set in concrete, which EOD had to remove it from. What a ride, for the shell and the reader. Whew!
