Meta just announced that they are trying to integrate Threads with ActivityPub (Mastodon, Lemmy, etc.). We need to defederate them if we want to avoid them pushing their crap into fediverse.

    A friend of mine made a threads account, and for his account being federated, the need to search in the settings a box of “Want your account to access the fediverse?” and the default is off
