    It’s likely the funds are displayed in whatever format the browser believes is local to you.

        Also in the US, the dollar sign is written before the number, like $5, not 5$
        (Even though it’s spoken after the number, and almost all other units are after the number in both speech and writing)

          The dollar symbol should appear to the left of the numeral, and the cent cent symbol goes to the right of the numeral.

          $1 = 100¢
