Reilly is a spoof of Walk the Line and music biopics in general, the second a spoof of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and popstar documentaries in general, starring Andy Samberg. Both movies were box office bombs unfortunately, despite being really funny and also having actually great songs.

They’re not what I typically consider in this particular style of parody movies because they’re a lot less slapstick and absurd but instead are very targeted mockeries of a single concept or style. Worth watching for sure, but I know they wouldn’t scratch the same itch for me.
Airplane! is also a parody of one particular movie that is mostly forgotten now, Zero Hour, and spoofs a then popular subgenre of airplane catastrophe movies.

Fun fact: Zero Hour is so unintentionally funny they lifted a lot of it verbatim and Airplane! is technically a remake. They had to buy the rights.
