Buddy, if you knew the stakes and still chose not to vote because of some moral quandary or, and this is my favorite excuse that I’ve heard so many times here on Lemmy, because the Dems need to “learn a lesson,” you hold just as much blame as anyone. Waiting out Trump’s ancient ass in a world that isn’t on fire before trying to force change was just too good for you, and now we’re all gonna fucking burn for your idealism and need for immediate gratification.
California, last time I checked, was a part of the United States. When a national abortion ban comes, California won’t be safe. I guess the rights of every single woman in your community wasn’t enough to convince you.
