Ah it’s like reuniting with old friends
Obviously this is all for the meme and I agree with you that Europe has a lot of famous myths and folklore but you are daft if you think North America only has Big Foot/Sasquatch before creepypasta. Let me name a few for you: Jersey Devil, Wendigo, Mothman, UFO aliens, Flatwoods Monster, Skinwalker. Almost every state in the US has a cryptid. We got the Native American folklore to derive from. Not even including Mexico’s vast folklore and cryptids.
Really cool to see a new IP from Capcom and it being an aesthetically pleasing defense tower game is interesting and takes me back to the Onimusha/Okami/Viewful Joe days
Probably because MMO is not the trending buzz word for execs and shareholders. Plus you got an example of a successful live service game (Helldivers 2). Doubtful that these are the type of people to be in touch with what people actually wants
Since there are so many bands and music that made me cry, I’ll share a recent one that made an impression and was the album of the year 2023 on me was Blue Rev by Alvvays. Give it a shot if you love indie rock
I used to when I was in my teens, when 4chan wasn’t as “well known” by so many people. It was definitely wild then. Now I don’t really have the desire to browse there or anywhere else besides Lemmy
I’m glad he didn’t, and honestly why would he?
Hmm that’s something that I might try out, as I have tinnitus for one of my ears
My partner has trouble sleeping due to anxiety. She takes Melatonin at night as a sleep aid that’s not a prescription
GameCube was the Nokia of the gaming consoles. Actually, it probably still is.
Let’s make it happen
Hell, I’m not even a girl, and I want that
My thought is that it helps the audience know what exactly they’re doing. Not saying it’s necessary because I think a good visual indication will let the audience know, but I think that’s what they were maybe going for.
Fandom is like a coin. A coin that has a shiny surface on one side and a dirty, rusty, smelly layer on the other. Some fans can have the passion and diligence to elevate the media while being respectful, while a lot of fans can be just down right hateful because it’s easier to do so while contributing to nothing
I would go out on a limb and say it’s probably the joys of traveling and discovering things along the way. The Bethesda “magic” is their approach in open world game design. In almost every corner, there’s something interesting to discover (side quests, well crafted environment, and characters). When you take that away and replace it with just mundane fast traveling, loading screens, and procedurally generated empty maps, then you get Starfield. It’s a Bethesda game missing that Bethesda “magic”
If I’m not being waited on, don’t look at me to provide you the rest of your wage. Look to your employer.
Probably none of that, since a ring is made for a finger. It probably magically detects if it has made contact with one. Now, if the question was what if it was put on a severed finger, then that is something to think about
