So, Trump gets a pass on what happened to the Kurds?
So, Trump gets a pass on what happened to the Kurds?
First day of the next Supreme Court term is the first Monday in October, well before election day.
Let’s have Biden call for a giant mob to show up in Washington and have them raid the place. He can promise to keep the police away, and sign a blanket pardon for all acts.
See how fast the Congress changes that law.
Acting like a responsible adult and voting Blue isn’t being an asshole.
Letting Trump win because of your ‘strong moral compass’ is being a giant one.
Can’t say for sure, but Hillary is an old-school politician who tries to create consensus. Trump is a fire breather who thrives on controversy.
They doubt that Biden is willing to be a murderer, and hope that Trump will be.
When you risk your own life, you’ve got balls.
When you risk other people’s lives without their permission, you’re an asshole.
Or, people could look at the situation as it is.
Trump and his MAGoos are going to do everything they can to take as many rights away from people as they can.
In the real world of 2024, the only option is Joe Biden.
There’s no magical super candidate that’s going to pop up between now and November.
With the latest Supreme Court decision, re-elected President Trump could deputize 5 million of his followers on Inauguration Day.
You don’t have to love Joe Biden, or even like him. Just realize that Trump is for full on fascist takeover of the US and Biden isn’t.
Keep at it. You learn by doing something; making a mistake; then doing it again a little better.
The only way to change the conditions of the test is to get out and support Left-leaning Dems in primaries.
And no, not all choices are valid. Voting doesn’t just affect the voter, it affects the whole country.
I’m going to assume that you’re being sarcastic.
For those who think this is an option, remember that the MAGoos vote in every election.
You’re ignoring the fact that people have been opting out of voting for decades.
People in 1968 couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Humphrey, and we got Nixon.
They couldn’t bear Jimmy Carter, and we got Reagan.
“Both sides are the same” is the Right’s best pal.
So, explain how not voting assures us that we don’t get Trump again.
Have you checked the maker’s site?
It’s kinda problematic. ‘Rainbow kryptonite’ would be more appropriate,

I see no advantage to students using AI and many problems.
Unless and until I see an advantage to a new tech, I hold my reserve. Obviously, a typewriter will give you better copy than a quill pen, and a word processor beats both.
But all three of those require the writer to come up with their own ideas.
First, you’ve proven my point about how the interwebs can lead us into stupid, inane, meaningless arguments that prove nothing.
Second, comic book Batman always carries krytonite in case Supes goes rogue, and that beats some surfing gear any day of the week.
And at the time it was true.
If all the knowledge you have in your society can be memorized and recited, writing it down means it can be changed.
On the other hand, if you have a society where you know of that there are over 500,000 types of beetles, it might be a better idea to come up with a way to record that information without memorization.
Just because an idea is new/old doesn’t mean it’s good/bad.
Things have to be judged on their own merits.
I like to put it this way.
Television is like binoculars and the internet is like a microscope.
Watch TV and you’ll see all sorts of things from a distance, and kind of get an idea of how they interconnect. A good general idea of what’s going on.
Use the internet and you’ll end up spending six months arguing over which version of Batman had the most effective utility belt.
Agreed.
I see people posting questions about life in the 1970s and wonder, “Don’t you know any one who was around then?”
