My roommate just finished ‘Until Then’ last night and she was crying her eyes out, so I know it’s gonna be good, I just haven’t played it yet.

Edit: I almost forgot Tsukihime! It’s great with a few different routes that wildly change what the story is about, so highly recommended!

It’s definitely not exactly DDLC, but it’s so good and unique I put it in the same ‘greatest VNs of all time’ category. Slay the Princess is a masterpiece, and I’d urge you to bump it up on your backlog!

Pyre was the game that made me get into visual novels. Took me about 10 minutes to go from ‘When do I get to the game part’ to ‘Idgaf about soccer please just keep talking to me’ and I think it’s because it wasn’t marketed as a VN. All in all, everything supergiant touches is gold.

To be fair, this was the kind of response I was expecting, I was just hoping to at least understand what they were going on about. Had to google sealioning, which is apparently repeatedly asking for proof while feigning politeness. I had a roommate who reviewed and scored responses for Google Bard. A ton of it was people generating posts for whatever business/crypto/alpha-male grift they were running. The main thing though was really really specific fetish stuff.

So I don’t know much about slay the princess, but it does look like a lot of other games I like. I haven’t bought it yet because I kinda like when a game has like a traditionally ‘happy’ end. Like in Needy Streamer, no matter what choices you make the endings range from bad to kinda disappointing. Is Slay the Princess like that?
