Lemmy.world is basically reddit V2, with mostly former Reddit admins. From what I’ve heard about that crowd, they’re quite possibly sex offenders themselves.

You were 75 comments deep arguing with someone about your right to take naked photos of your child, I’m nowhere close to half.
See, this is on par with arguing semantics around how it’s not pedophilia because the victim wasn’t prepubescent. You may be technically right, but the fact that you’re making the argument is gross.
The Finns regularly take naked photos of their children? Sure buddy.
I’ve said the same thing myself in other replies to them, it’s incredibly slimy how hard they’re trying to justify this.
Definitely wouldn’t leave them alone around children.

You can’t, that’s why you don’t take photos of them naked.
Taking photos of naked children isn’t, and shouldn’t, be normal in any culture I’m familiar with, and you definitely shouldn’t be showing them to anyone.
Are you really asking for impartial evidence of basic human decency?
He’s been going to bat for showing people photos of his kid’s bits all day, he’s too far dug in to ever admit he’s wrong.
You’re right, you definitely can’t fix stupid. Man just wants to violate his child’s privacy.
Naked photos of children is pretty much the definition of CP, yes.
A parent is unlikely to face prosecution unless they share the photos, but that doesn’t mean it’s legal.
We’re talking about in the nuddy here, in which case you really should have a good case for taking that photo.
I’m utterly amazed at how far you’ve dug your heels in on this, well done.
I’m getting major nonce vibes from this thread, to be honest.
Well that’s reassuring, it’s only her external genitalia you’re advocating tooth and nail for showing to her future partner.
Glad we cleared that up.
Yeah, definitely. At best they’re arguing tooth and nail for embarrassing their child in front of their partner, if not outright CP.
Major ick.
It’s a gender neutral term.
You’d be back within days under a new account anyway, I’ve got better things to do with my time.
