Yea this is pretty much it. I meet online weekly to play something with some friends, after the third or fourth session I was just completely done with the game. It doesn’t feel like there’s a whole lot to do after you’ve tried every mission type.

Penny, morrowind and dishonoured are a really solid bundle alone for $20
Yea when it came out it got a lot of attention because us in the N64 camp were starved for a good RPG. Unfortunately it was just a lot of nothing.
I really like it. It’s pretty simple but the small city feels dense and fun to explore. Reminds me of something you’d find on the Dreamcast. If you have gamepass give it a shot.
Nah, you can always rely on the Hilbert Hotel for a good night’s rest. Your room is down the hall, just keep walking, you’ll find it.
“Take this code and give me jest tests with 100% coverage. Don’t describe, don’t scaffold, full output.”
Saves me hours.
I haven’t used PayPal in over 10 years. Why don’t you just leave the service?
That’s like your oppinion man
I get this. I’ve reached a point where I just can’t bring myself to care any more. I feel bad there are people suffering but I feel this is a constant, bad news cycles are good news. Sometimes it’s children being gunned down. Sometimes there’s a protest in Boise Idaho for a conflict in another continent. Sometimes it’s hand wringing about a beer spokesperson. Sometimes it’s politics for countries I don’t live in. I’ve reached a point where I’m avoiding news but getting told opinions constantly.
Meanwhile I’ve got a life full of small compounding problems. Nothing news worthy but a struggle. I can’t bring myself to care anymore about problems outside my twenty feet. I just can’t. I don’t feel like it’s even genuine anymore. People want my opinion so they can confirm their own or launch into their prepared rebuttal.
Memes like this are like the word art that’s hung up in homes. It gets a lot of passive attention but if you stop to think about it, it’s all really fucking dumb.
True champs split the screen with cardboard
Is that dangerous? I was under the impression helicopters were designed with specific balance in mind
Just using Letterboxd decade filters gives a pretty good snapshot of the great cinema from each decade.
Yea I’ve looked at this stuff before. Usually the outages aren’t that long, more of an annoyance than a problem. I’ve got some UPSs around the house to keep the tech gear going, just looking for a cheap solution to the noise machine shutting off
Yea I’ve got some Cyberpower UPSs for bigger equipment but it seemed like overkill to add a $100 battery to a $20 noise machine. Plus they’re actually pretty noisy on battery mode (they buzz)
Yea I think this is the way to go. I’ve got some Cyberpower UPSs around the house for tech equipment but even with the beeping muted they’re still pretty noisy (like a buzzing). Looks like these mini ones might be the way to go.
The opening scene of Kong Skull Island is my go to for showing off sound gear. It starts with silence, then a plane going overhead and a fist fight, then a big bassy monkey.
Oddly the TV show Bodkin on Netflix really used the surrounds. I don’t know if it’s Atmos but whoever did the mix really loved to utilize all the sound channels.
You’ll have to make a recording or something, not about to sign up for this
