Urban strike as well! I think it was urban strike that turned into a kind of top down shooter when you assaulted an enemy base about halfway into the game. 10 year old me could never get past that part.

what VPS provider are you using?
He’s not, there was accusations against him and his company from a former employee that were recently settled in court in favor of Linus, judged has having committed no wrongdoing.
oh man, you’ve gotten it stuck in my head too!
is it called “Seáns Bar” by any chance? 😁
Ha 😃. This was my first thought as well. I just shared the link to a friend of mine working for “Friend Computer” to ask him what class of citizen he was going to be.
a friend invited me to play a boardgame online, called Kingdomino. I really loved it, and since money is tight, I made my own copy of the tiles for in-person play.
They aren’t perfect by any means and it took a fucking age to do them, but it’s a playable version I can bust out with friends and family.
I would guess the ban came from an overzealous application of the “no personal info” doxxing rule, because that pic has an address on it which is technically a company address, but there ya go, that’s my guess. I was banned once for something similar.
which fork of new pipe are you using? I’d be interested to hear your take on it.
There is a vast untapped natural gas field southwest of sevastopol. On top of giving Russia another warm water port, it also gives them rights over the slarwa of the black sea where the gas field is. the argument has been made that this was the reasoning behind the Crimean annexation in 2014.
and Ireland too!
Sadly, Portal64 has come to an end after cease & desist letters were issued to James. Still, it was a fantastic series and he is a great presenter, he makes the technical challenges he faces so Interesting to follow.
the Mona Lisa is behind several centimeters of glass. they have absolutely no way to date it with soup.
I think they might have used AGI to mean “AI Generated Images” which I’ve seen used in a few places, not know that AGI is already a term in the AI lexicon.
there’s some really great mini documentaries on YouTube above the Soviet internet of the 1960s, which would have taken over as the central planning committee and managed the supply and demand automatically. When you look at what it was supposed to be, and why it failed (a lot of people worked very hard to make sure it wouldn’t succeed) it’s really interesting stuff.
here’s one I watched recently enough about it; [https://youtu.be/cLOD5f-q0as?si=D8mVJiK603HPdgKY](Asianometry - Why the Soviet Internet Failed)
I agree with you, but also Total War is the trademark brand and they’re also gonna use it.
What are tab stacks?
I think we must have a very similar viewing list.
My favorite thing about Adam Something is that he points out consistently that nearly all the big hyped “futurism” ideas for transport and infrastructure, are just solving problems that we have already solved using trains. except it’s always slower more costly and less efficient than a train.
For some other recommendations, specially about videogames, Civvie11 does reviews and playthrough of old FPS games (the boomer shooter, Doom and Quake generation). His videos are very entertaining.
Warlockracy is similar, but for CRPGs like the original fallout and various obscure, usually eastern European mods for them. He’s also extremely entertaining.
MandaloreGaming does a mix of old and new games, usually older, and goes into great detail about them and their development and he’s probably the most fair and honest reviewer I’ve ever seen. He reviews games he thinks are interesting so sometimes they’re obscure and sometimes they’re very popular oldies.
That’s exactly the one that came to mind first. He was able to cast a light on the self aggrandizing TED and TEDx talks that are so often full of hot air. It’s a really shame that so many fall into that pit of fascism and can never come out.
And one day your child will grow and cut theirs into rectangle, the circle of sandwich life continues.
PersonallyI I cut mine into irregular polyhedrons.
