According to that site, Napster pays more. Here’s the info on TIDAL:
I use Napster. I chose it way back when Spotify paid for the Rogan podcast, from a list of platforms that pay artists more. I’m not sure if that’s true any longer, but look it up! I’ve been really happy with their service. (And it’s really full circle for me, since I used their original service decades ago.)
ETA I can’t vouch for the accuracy of this site, but it says Napster is still one of the top-paying platforms.
I think you’re confusing a wealth tax with an income tax. They’re different. As for how these wealthy people pay, it’s not up to the government to figure out how someone pays their taxes. The onus is on the taxpayer.
Video killed the radio star. Still remember watching Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit ad nauseum.
And you stuck to the main, very large highways instead of trying the smaller routes. I always wonder if the Waze era of travel has helped or hurt smaller communities.
“The government” doesn’t want to argue that. Some idiot politicians do.
For my generation, it was mostly TV. Same for Xers and Boomers, though they were also allowed to roam with no adult supervision. The habit of neglecting children is ingrained in our society, and computers are just the newest method.
Thanks! I keep thinking it’s Tuesday, so this…well, honestly it changes nothing.
Maybe not quite what you’re looking for, but the press releases section of a research university often contains brief articles about current research projects, as well as other topical info regarding that university.

Yep. We have a black and white Brother laser printer, and it’s lasted* for at least five years now. Toner is so much cheaper than those stupid, tiny cartridges with not-enough-cyan.
Wasps, definitely, and it does basically suffocate them. We use a water, dish soap, and peppermint mix on paper wasp nests that form in our eaves.
Fiber and water. Find yourself a nice, vegetable soup recipe.
It just occurred to me that this ability to communicate with a search engine, that everyone used to call Google-fu, was exactly this! It didn’t already know (or think it knew) what you were getting at, and it’s took some practice to figure out how to finesse the results.
And this post, being on Lemmy, will be indexable by search engines!
I think you have to do what’s best for your people. You have a very particular set of goals with Beehaw, and if the fediverse isn’t the right place for that then it’s fine to move on. I’ll be curious to see what you all decide to do, and, if you do leave, what you end up creating!
Mustard. It’s more versatile. Besides the obvious condiment uses, it’s also a useful ingredient in cooking, can alleviate muscle cramps (eaten), helps with bee or wasp stings (topical), and can be used as a dye.
Well, one’s alive and the other isn’t. As long as the inheritors of MJ’s estate are decent people, I think it’s fine at this point. Still skeeves me out to listen to his stuff, though. Two verses in and my brain is popping.
That’s what you get for trying to have a real life.
