Why does the version with the Cornucopia look so much better? If it isn’t their logo, it fuckin’ should be.

If universes were merging, how would snopes know anything about it?

What if snopes is under the control of big universe and is trying to hide the smaller universes that get merged into it??

Everyone likes to blame the universe splinter on the Harambe Event, but I like to think we were once living in the Berenstein Bears timeline and something went terribly wrong.

The Berenstain Bears mandela effect definitely predates Harambe, and though I certainly believe I remember the cornucopia, I’m willing to admit there could be a valid explanation for that. But The Berenstain Bears… I will die on this hill. I was an extremely pedantic and detail oriented child who loved to read and only had so many books. I can vividly recall many nights spent secretly awake studying the covers of those books, tracing and reading and rereading it, thinking they must be Jewish like me even though they act very Christian. There is not a doubt in my mind they were The Berenstein Bears. Most purported mandela effects are clearly just people misremembering, but I will die on Berenstein hill.

I also remember it having it when I was a kid. Before Costco had it’s Kirkland brand, they sold Fruit of the Loom underwear with the cornucopia logo, I’m sure of it. I think there was probably a knock-off/counterfeit brand that somehow wormed it’s way into department store/warehouse club supply chains, which is why so many people remember it that way, and also why FotL just denies it because they never discovered the replacement of product. I’d be willing to bet there are some corporate folk out there who could say for certain.

You might be onto something with the knock-off theory. I had Walmart shirts and underwear with the cornucopia logo.

Nah, this would have been ~30 years ago. Film and development was expensive so we didn’t just take pictures of everything. Certainly not something as inconsequential (at the time) as undershirts or underwear. I wish I had an example leftover.

At this point I’ve even heard the story that we mandela effected ourselves into thinking it was mandela effect, while they actually used this logo but haven’t put it up on their website as a past logo and then shitty journalism flooded the web and it was impossible to find any unedited versions of the logo with the whatever-it’s-called.

    What a sentence.

So anyway, this version of events may have just emerged as trolling but I honestly wouldn’t find it that hard to belive that this was actually the case.
