It is the combination of the pandemic lockdowns made people yearn less going on night outs, and also the price of drinks have become too damn high!

People conflate socialism with collectivism.
Dabbling in stocks, it made me realise that it’s impossible to be ethical in the capitalist system.
Raising consumer prices because of increased minimum wage is a myth. Even fucking Henry Ford of all people knew the benefits of raising wages! More wages means more people buying his cars! More wages means more consumer spending! And it is not like raising minimum wage is what drove prices to increase since the pandemic; even though the minimum wage has been stagnant since the 1970s! Businesses will tell you that they have to increase their price because of “inflation” despite having record profits!
I don’t know why bisexuals are memed as being given a hard time for being bisexual, and I am too afraid to ask at this point.
Party like it’s 1999!
Well, thankfully Dugin and Putin are suffering and from imperialist brain rot and never considered external factors outside their control. As someone from former colonial country, I do find bigger powers to constantly underestimate and patronise smaller countries. It is utterly stupid to invade a country who historically hates you. I always say this, it is like Britain invading Ireland and India again, and the British delusionally expecting to be re-welcomed.
I don’t mean to diminish the lives needleesly lost on both sides, but the war in Ukraine should put the final nail in the coffin in Russian jingoism and will justly serve them the humble pie. No one could see how Russia will remain a great power after the war, with so many young lives lost going to exacerbate the already dwindling population, and re-shifting the economy from war footing to civilian mode without serious ramifications. Russia’s international prestige is also badly tarnished and her traditional allies would neither trust nor respect Kremlin as a peace guarantor in the future. There are no politicians worth their salt who could replace Putin after his eventual death and keep the country going. The country could become a Chinese vassal at some point.
I think everyone saw issues will happen 10 years ago, when Germany took excessive amount of refugees. Though on the one hand, way before the migration crisis, Europe had been criticised for not taking in both migrants and refugees, many of whom died being denied entry. You can never please both sides when it comes to migration.
I have heard the statement before, and the US napalmed and bombed the crap out of North Vietnamese and Taliban, and yet in both instances the US military lost the wars. I think Americans forgot the art of guerilla warfare since the American revolution and think now in conventional terms.
Well, society is still run on the abstract and unwritten social contract as much as on the codified law. People still haven’t taken up arms, so the perceived red lines haven’t been crossed. If what Trump has been doing happened twenty or thirty years ago, it would not have been acceptable (previous presidents from both parties got more public backlash simply for lying and adultery and ruined their political careers than Trump). But expectations changed and here we are. That’s just how the world works whether you care to admit it or not.
Ask the Americans what they perceive to be red lines.
To be fair to Honda, they are doing what is expected of any companies in a capitalist system, actually innovate and diversify in order to remain competitive. Most other companies would rather stick to their traditional products and services, even if those products and services are written on the wall that they are becoming obsolete.
Serious question, why are Venetians against Bezos’ wedding? Did he do anything that offended the city before?
I understand what you mean. What I am saying is that people are overlooking because any perceived red lines haven’t been crossed yet.
Unfortunately, there is plausible deniability that allow the US government to do what they’re doing. In spite of some rulings which tell Trump administration that they are wrong, there are still some actions where they have legal backing, moral or not.
Legal =/= moral.
That’s just how the world works I’m afraid.
We will see in four years (or less depending if anything horrifically dramatic happens). But when violence has to happen, get ready to exercise your second amendment rights.
The accusations are leveled at all social media.
I am actually getting tired of these rhetorical questions written as headlines. Just say what you want to say!
You know, if what everything Midas touches turns to gold because he wants to have as much wealth as possible, then eventually the value of gold diminishes and become worthless because there is too much gold circulating. He would have just crashed the economy!
You mean they know exactly what the problem but choose bury their heads in the sand.
