It’s not over yet, but it is very dangerously close.

66% voted in the 2020 presidential election. That number sucks considering how high the stakes were.
70% of eligible voters participating in at least 1 of 3 elections is abysmal. That only 37% voted in all 3 demonstrates this.
Not “might,” “will.”
Not exactly. He’s only allowed to do illegal things if the SCOTUS is okay with it. He’s a Democrat, so they wouldn’t be.
Washington’s ghost: “Let’s see how America is getting along.”
“…”
“Welp, I tried to warn them political parties were a bad idea.”
The thing is, the record turnouts are still pretty bad. Something like 60% of eligible voters, I think? You’re right that there are systemic reasons why it’s not feasible for some people to vote. But if everyone who didn’t have a systemic reason to not vote did, the turnout would still be much higher.
Unfortunately, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree and their government is not so great, either.
Partially, but that was before the US government controlled the most powerful military in the world. The idea that whatever weapons civilians could get their hands on would be able to overpower the military is laughable.
Biden may be immune for the order criminally.
Not a chance. The SCOTUS decides what is and isn’t “official,” and 6 of them would determine that this was “not official.”
I’m voting for Not Trump!
Um, yeah, voting isn’t effective if you don’t fucking do it.
Democrats say “vote!” -> not enough people actually vote
As far as I know it’s the first, but I’m not well-versed in the comics.
You got it.
Joker for president!
D&D intelligence, not IQ. 10-12 is human average, so I’d say it’s not terrible for the purposes of understanding the underlying themes of Ulysses or Finnegan’s Wake.

You may very well be right, and that’s extremely frustrating for me, too. Manufactured consent being laid bare.
