That is not to say that rampant nationalism means fascist. Populism doesn’t mean fascism to your example.

The best I’ve explained it is first and foremost you need to understand and appreciate we are a deeply flawed creature and there’s a beauty in that. How could someone not love life for that? I am in a dingy alley having a tea right now I can smell garbage, I can hear the drone of the city around me, everything is stained. But if I look up the sky is beautiful and blue, cute girls are walking by, someone is smoking a flavoured cigar.
If you’re unwilling to appreciate it all, you will struggle on appreciating any of it. Happiness is what you make of the world around you and if you are not willing to be happy inside no external event will change that.
I saw a guy who didn’t just lose his car keys. He shouldn’t be allowed to drive period. America is so fucked and thus so is the rest of the world.

We’ve just started him on strattera and seeing some success. The problem isn’t so much the autism but how the ADHD manifests. If this makes sense it’s like about working memory and more about modeling activities. Because he has issues with muscle tone he lacks a lot of the core abilities many of us take for granted like being able to do something as simple as a thumbs up. Thumbs up took a year.
Please don’t but pay attention to your support group as you move forward. You will learn there are a lot of people that genuinely care about your child and their future. The irony of course is the vast majority of these people make little to no money and are doing what they do because they love it.

Nazi Germany as an example was a populist and nationalist movement that rose out of the austerity plan from WW1. Yes it is very much linked with fascism.
What we are experiencing in America and Canada right now is a rise in populism and nationalism which again is dragging fascism along on its heels. Again, they are all very much tied together.
Beyond that I’m not going to argue with someone with their head up their ass. History has proven again and again that Populism, Nationalism and Fascism are all similar and travel together repeatedly. Do they always? No.
