        This person gets it.

We need to wait until it is not an actual crime. Rebellion is illegal, until it isn’t.

I keep imagining a tipping point where a large percentage of the population wakes up one day and smacks their forehead while saying “OMG, the corruption won’t stop because the people that would vote to stop the corruption are all corrupt” … then they start assembling guillotines.

“someone else do it please” is not the mentality to have if you actually want revolution.

Hot take and so easy to type out with nothing at stake for you, but I’ll reply anyway.

With stakes like these, being stupid and trying to do something you know you’ll fail at helps nobody, and actually hurts whatever cause you would have eventually joined. When the things I am good at are needed to topple a tyrant, I’ll answer the call. I can’t help if I’m dead or locked up. I’m not a person that can get a movement off the ground and inspire enough people to join and act in a coordinated fashion that it actually succeeds. Very, very few people are capable of that. That’s why we are where we are right now.

Yeah, but, using our guns??? What an unspeakable idea! I mean honestly. Who’s ever heard of a shooting happening in the USA???
