Between this, JD Vance’s “racist lies for the greater good” stance and the right’s desire to make it illegal for doctor groups to endorse evidence based medicine for trans people the GOP has just gone into full fascist propaganda mode.

Well, your first two sentences are actually valid when you divorce them from the current context and remarry it with the reality of the bad stuff being ads, paid misinformation, and general enshittification 🤷

That much is true, of course. Everywhere including his own ramblings do that, though, so that’s not really characteristic of Google specifically 🤷

And then Vance is President? I’m not sure that’s better, all the same horrible views, somewhat more coherent, has no idea how a human behaves, is on the record that if he’d been Pence he’d have helped with the coup

The only reason Pence grew a backbone is he truly believed he would be murdered if he’d left the Capitol, and replaced with The Speaker of The House. It wasn’t honor, or duty, or courage, it was purely self interest in survival.

The terrifying thing is that thanks to the electoral college and FPTP, he has as good a chance as Kamala despite being grossly unpopular

We need reform but as long as we keep pretending that the Republican party is a legitimate political party, that’s not gonna happen

Part of why I get pissed by people saying they aren’t voting/are voting third party this election. It NEEDS to be overwhelmingly Harris so the Supreme Court gets scared about giving it to the GoP. If Harris loses, there is no future election, and people who were all, “Harris is just as evil I’m not voting/voting 3rd party” will be among the people rounded up and thrown into concentration camps. Morals don’t matter shit when you get forced to work to death

It’s either make sure it’s overwhelming, or stop aiming to off Trump and instead take out the republicans on the SC - At least 4 of them. And I doubt the latter will happen, so it NEEDS to be an overwhelming Dem victory

I think there will be multiple lawsuits (Georgia, North and South Carolina, etc.,) and shady election poll shenanigans, and SCOTUS will appoint him King. Like what they did to Gore.

It just amazes me that anyone can support such an obviously damaged, antisocial person. No one would tolerate this behavior from their teenage child. Well, no one who isn’t rich enough to be able to ignore consequences that normal people would face.

“I’m the best, I’m the most popular, I’m the prettiest, I throw the best parties, I have the best clothes, car, phone, friends, and everybody loves me best! And anyone who doesn’t agree is a fat loser who is probably in Chess Club and Band! And GAY!”

How can anyone support a spoiled, entitled, narcisssitic, psychopathic overgrown high school mean girl for the most powerful office on the planet? My theory? 40 years of Jerry Springer and Judge Judy.

This reminds me of a girl I went to school with in like 2nd grade. She had clearly just learned the word “sue,” and proceeded to run around the playground shrieking “I’ll sue you!” at the other children.

See, this is an example of why he likes Putin. If you publish negative stories about Putin, regardless of truth, you’re going to fall out a window. Trump wants that.

We do live in a world where simply mentioning the bad shit people do can get you in trouble.

Over on another forum site I mentioned that border security in Egypt made a British 15 year old girl strip in an airport and I received a 3 day ban off admins for “Inciting hatred based on identity or religion”.

I never mentioned religion or any identity. I just said “Egypt made a 15 year old girl strip naked in an airport and that was a pretty shitty thing to do.”
